What a successful candidate will require:

-Diagnose, repair, and maintain machines that includes but is not limited to

-Articulated dump trucks

-Compressor trailers

-Excavators of (all makes and models)

-Forklifts both warehouse and container handlers 

-10KVA - 3000KVA power generators 

-Hybrid power cubes 

-Japanese trucks 

-Light vehicles (limited to 4x4's)

-Front end wheel loaders (all makes and models)

-Padfoot rollers (all makes and models)

-Skid steers (wheeled and tracks)

-Prime mover heavy vehicles

-Agricultural tractors (John Deere & Kubota)

-Water trucks

-Vacuum trucks/trailers 

• Has skills in welding, hydraulic & electrical systems.
• Participate in preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Has own hand and cordless power tools

• Occasional weekend work: We have some small customers that do not support down time during the week. From time to time weekend work may be asked however, will never be forced on an employee.
• Uplift on Pay: You'll receive additional compensation for all hours worked when overnight stays are required away from location of hire.

Requirements:

• Minimum preferred age of 23 years old.
• Enthusiasm for diesel mechanics and heavy machinery.
• 2 years post trade preferred however not a requirement 
• Passionate About Mechanics: A deep passion for mechanics and heavy equipment.
• Strong work ethic, dedication, and a willingness to learn.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Can work autonomously 
• Valid Manual Driver's License: A manual Australian driver's license is required for this position.
