The Role:

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Automotive Yardhand, who is reliable and a fast learner, to join our Operations team based at our site in Moorebank site. This position is responsible for providing attention to detail with the highest level of accuracy, care, and quality service to our customers, and assist in all aspects of the logistics business. Your main duties will include:

• Maintain and clean auction vehicles & loading of the auction area
• Liaise with the sales/administration team and truck drivers as required
• Assist with the preparation of auctions i.e. lotting of vehicles, and auction pad set up
• Ensure that vehicles are processed in line with pre-defined customer standards and customer-specified timeframes
• Record and book in all assets using a hand-held company supplied IT System
• From time to time assist fellow team members in our passenger/light vehicle and salvage division

Skills & Experiences:

• Experiences working in the automotive industry and/or administration roles (desirable)
• Willing to undergo background checks (Police and Work Rights) and a pre-employment medical (including a drug and alcohol test) as part of the recruitment process. Please note: we also conduct random drug and alcohol tests onsite.
• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
• Strong decision-making skills
