Position Title: Motor Mechanic (2 Positions Available)

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: 780 ARCHER ROAD, KIALLA, VIC, 3631

Salary: $74,000.00 per annum plus superannuation.

Key Responsibilities:

Vehicle Diagnosis: Inspect and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
Repairs and maintenance: Perform routine maintenance (Oil change, break repairs, etc.) and major repairs (engine, transmission, etc.) on cars, trucks, and other vehicles.
Parts Replacements: Replace or repair worn-out components, including tires, brakes, batteries, and exhaust systems.
Systems Testing: Test vehicles systems, such as the engine, transmission, and suspension, to ensure proper functioning.
Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers to explain vehicle issues, recommend ensure proper functioning.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and hours worked.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocol and maintain a clean and organized workshop to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

Australian Citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
AQF Certificate III in Automotive (including at least Two years on the job training) or AQF Certificate IV in Automotive.
At least 1 year of relevant experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
Strong technical skills in vehicle repair and maintenance.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide exceptional service.
Commitment to safety and maintaining a clean work environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
